This website continues to provide information on NHS community
healthcare services delivered in Ashton, Leigh and Wigan. These are
delivered by the Ashton, Leigh and Wigan Division of Bridgewater
Community Healthcare NHS Trust.
The division remains the main provider of NHS community healthcare and
therapy services in the Ashton, Leigh and Wigan areas. Our services
cover the entire local population serving approximately one third of
them each year, from newborn babies to the elderly.
Our team of health professionals includes District Nurses, specialist
Nurses, Health Visitors, School Nurses, Dieticians, Physiotherapists,
Occupational Therapists, Counsellors, Speech and Language Therapists,
Health Trainers and Stop
Smoking Specialists.
